darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Nudes? Smex? All these interesting terms in this modern age lingo. He looked at her with subdued curiosity until she finally explained that it was to get a hold of him. "Well perhaps you and your team best work on your tracking skills. Purgatory is not that large." A mere suggestion to them, to work on tracking someone down. Though, Doc knew full well that if he didn't want to be found, he wouldn't be.
He clicked a button on the device and a light flashed, causing him to blink a couple of times and stare at the thing with annoyance. "It tried to blind me!" He accused, tossing it to the ground. Damn thing was a nuisance! A hazard! And speaking of which . . . she was trying to get him into the truck. "Perhaps I did not make myself clear," he told her, taking a couple steps towards her, just, not the truck. "Ain't no way in hell I'm getting in one of those things." There! Was that clear enough for her? Though . . . Doc knew full well that he was going to end up in it. Wynonna just, had a way of convincing him. Damn woman.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Doc felt like he was missing something. While he may not understand the extent of her jokes, he did know how to read people. And her tone was suggesting that there was an underlying tone of . . . what was it, flirtation? He smirked in response, deciding he could play along even without fully comprehending this modern age slang.
"Are you offerin' to help me with said practice?" He asked in a similar tone of flirtation. Who would have thought. Over a century from his days with Wyatt and he was now standing here in front of his great great granddaughter . . . flirting. He somehow always found his way back to the Earps; even now despite his tenuous deal with Bobo. No. Right now he just needed to focus on the one thing, the one thought that kept him going for all those years: exacting vengeance on the Stone Witch. Wynonna was just a distraction. Albeit, a very attractive, very tempting distraction.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Doc continued to pace, back and forth on the porch, stopping only when Wynonna approached him with a rattle. He couldn't hep but smile at it . . . not having the heart to tell her that their daughter was not a baby anymore. She was young, yes but had outgrown a rattle. Still. The gesture brought a smile to his lips and allowed him to at least stop pacing for the next few moments.
"It's precious," he told her, a smile still upon his lips. "I am certain she will love it." Because it was from her mother. A mother who loved her. Who made a sacrifice to keep her safe. They had so much lost time to make up for and Doc couldn't only so desperately hope, that one day . . . Alice would understand. That one day, Alice would forgive them.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Doc was not the slightest bit prepared for this. After stopping the demon brides, they had quickly returned to the Homestead to get Wynonna's hospital bag but apparently . . . they were too late. The baby was coming and the others were too far away to come in time. He had helped Wynonna get comfortable on the couch, cause, hell wasn't even able to make it upstairs. And from there on . . . Doc had no idea what he was doing. As he had told her before, back in his day the men just sat outside and smoked until it was over.
But now, he was apparently going to be involved. Very involved. She was making sounds of pain and he had no idea how to help ease it. He set some pillows for her and pushed the table back so that they had more room. Waverly and Nicole were on their way but until then . . . he was the only one here, and he was starting to panic. "The wikipedia did not have anythin' on this part," he said, trying to keep the frantic tone out of his voice.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE He gave a small smile at her words, knowing that he'd rather be in her life as a friend than not in her life at all. He . . . just hadn't realized how quickly her and Dolls would have become, more than friends. Was she afraid to lose him too? Or was that where her heart lay? He wasn't the type to get jealous . . . no. That was not Doc Holliday. So what was that stinging feeling in his chest when he saw what he did. Trying to shake it off, he focused on her words in the present.
"You need not worry about losin' me. I'm in it for the long haul," he told her lightly, though meant every word, not even having fully realized that he took another step towards her. It would take a lot more to get rid of John Henry Holliday. His smile remained in place when she mentioned his drinking tendencies. "Well I am glad to hear that my tolerance of drink has its merits." Glancing around the room again, he found it quite . . . pleasantly odd how comfortable and at home he felt in a barn. It was the location of it that explained this ease though. "Speaking of drink, perhaps we can celebrate our success with one. Anythin' but champagne I reckon."

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Doc listened intently to the instructions of the game. It sounded simply enough. Odd, but simply. And seemed like a good way to learn quite a bit about a person's past dalliances. "Simple enough," he said vocalizing his thoughts. Glad that Wynonna went first to set the example, he listened to the prompt and proceeded to casually take a sip of his drink. Not thinking too much of it.
"Well now that's hardly a rare occurrence," he said, a bit teasing towards the prompt. Though Doc was trying to understand whether the winner of this so called game was the one who drank more or less . . . or if there was no winner. As long as it involved more drink, Doc was perfectly satisfied with that. "Never have I ever . . . passed out intoxicated in a barn full of cattle." Doc smirked at the memory as he took a sip of his drink. "Now that was one hell of a night," he said with amusement after swallowing.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Well, she had a rather . . . blunt way of speaking. Even the way she spoke. Very . . . different. Just as was the way she dressed. Peculiar indeed. And yet, there was something oddly familiar about her. She reminded him of someone . . . he just couldn't figure out who. He knew for damn sure that he hadn't met her before. He wasn't likely to forget someone like her. Yet, she seemed to know him. The way she spoke to him made it seem as such.
Doc wasn't nearly drunk enough for this. Intrigue did get the best of him though when she asked to speak alone. "Why yes, I can surely see that," he responded, his eyes looking over her when she said she had . . . an ass and boobs. "And so eloquently put too," he added on with a jovial tease. Yet, at her request . . . yes. The intrigue was strong.
"Well, who am I to deny a damsel in need of my assistance." He wanted to know more about her. "Let's go in the back room here. I do believe it is vacant," he told her. A side room for overflow on poker nights. Today, it was empty as the rush was not so great. He motioned with his hand for her to go first. After all, ladies -- oddly dressed and all -- first.
