darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Doc closed his eyes as he felt the slight tremble of her shoulders. Damn it, he hated to see her cry. It made him feel as if his heart was breaking all over again. It made his own eyes moisten moisten as a tear slid down his cheek. As if that was not enough, she spoke one single word that encompassed so much. Stay. She never needed to ask him twice.
He was always here for her, and though he may long for something more than just as friends, right now . . . he would be whatever she needed him to be. If that was a pillar to hold her up, he would be that. If it was simply a shoulder to cry on, he would be that too. As he once answered when someone had asked Who's Wynonna . . . she is everything. "Always," he told her in a low, sincere voice, lightly brushing his lips on the side of her head in a light kiss.
Time passed, and he remained holding her until he lost track of the moments. Until realization dawned on him that she needed to rest. Drawing his head back, but keeping his arms around her. he looked at her. "Why don't you head on upstairs. I'll be there shortly," he assured her, one hand moving to her cheek to gently brush away a couple days, letting his thumb linger against her soft skin. She needed to lie down. She needed to rest.

Doc's Wanted Characters
Hey everyone! Below is my list of Wanted Characters! Hover over the image for more information about the character! I would love for someone to take any of these awesome charries! I have suggested several different plots for each character but PLEASE do not feel pressured to do them!! They are just to help with any inspiration and such! I'm always up for whichever plots, canon or AU!! I'll be adding more soooon!
[nospaces][googlefont="Oswald:400"] [attr="class","colors-of-the-sky"] [attr="class","box"] [attr="class","header1"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Dominique Provost- Chalkley [attr="class","name"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Waverly Earp [attr="class","main-content"]I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOOVE the relationship between Doc and Waverly!! Its super adorbs how protective he is over her! Punching people on her behalf, never hesitating to go to aid, and answering her calls while ignoring others!! And of course, the way she supports him and encourages him with Wynonna, and so on!! Much love for these 2 so I would love for someone to take her where we can explore their dynamic and have all sorts of threads, canon and AU alike!
[attr="class","box"] [attr="class","header1"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Tamara Duarte [attr="class","name"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Rosita Bustillos [attr="class","main-content"] So its pretty clear that Rosie and Doc know each other from before, so I would love to explore their dynamic, from figuring out how they first met, to them becoming more than friends!! I actually like their "casual" -- which became not to casual -- relationship and would love to delve into it! Lots of canon ideas and AUs about the way that things seemed to have ended between them! [attr="class","box"] [attr="class","header1"][attr="style","background-color:#DESIREDCOLOR;"]Varun Saranga [attr="class","name"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Jeremy Chetri [attr="class","main-content"] Jeremy is definitely one of my favourite characters!! He's just too adorable for words! I love his and Doc's relationship! His crush on Doc is adorable and its clear that Doc is super fond of him!! I would love to explore all sorts of thread scenarios with them! From where they first meet, to working together, to all that happens in season 3!! So much plotting potential! [attr="class","box"] [attr="class","header1"][attr="style","background-color:#DESIREDCOLOR;"]Chantel Riley [attr="class","name"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Kate [attr="class","main-content"] I really love Kate and her dynamic with Doc, considering their past and well, the fact that she's his wifey!!! It would be SO much fun to delve deeper into their complex relationship! I really like her character and the fact that she came for Doc! There is SOO much that we could explore with this duo!! We could have threads from back in the day, to present ones! Canons, Aus, SO MANY possibilities with these two and I'm up for all the things!! [attr="class","box"] [attr="class","header1"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Ryan Northcott [attr="class","name"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Wyatt Earp [attr="class","main-content"] This is definitely one of the most significant relationships that Doc has: his bestie Wyatt! I know that we only saw Wyatt briefly in the show, but the plotting potential between these two is endless!! Threads from back in the day, AUs where they didn't part ways, and of course . . . What IFs they're both somehow in the modern era! I would just love to delve into their bromance and have all the Wyatt and Doc adventures!! [attr="class","box"] [attr="class","header1"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Shamier Anderson [attr="class","name"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Xavier Dolls [attr="class","main-content"] Ohhhh these two . . . they went from not liking each other very much, to friends and dare I say . . . bros?! Either way, I absolutely LOVE the complex nature of their relationship! I think there could be soo many fun threads we could have! Them working together, solving crime together, arguing with each other, haha! And of course AUs where Dolls doesn't die!! It would be really interesting to see how he deals with all that happened in season 3! So yas!! Would love some Dolls and Doc (D SQUARED) threads! [attr="class","box"] [attr="class","header1"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Kat Barrell [attr="class","name"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Nicole Haught [attr="class","main-content"] So I know in the early days Haught and Doc didn't have much interaction, but I liked the whole team working together in s2 and of course, all the stuff that happened in s3!! I think it would be super fun to have threads between them and build up that dynamic! Doc after all, was the one who finally spilled the beans to Nicole confirming all the paranormal stuff haha! So yeah! It would be GREAT to have a Haught on the site!! [attr="class","box"] [attr="class","header1"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Rayisa Kondracki [attr="class","name"][attr="style","background-color:#;"]Constance Clootie [attr="class","main-content"] The Stone Witch! Ohh the tension between these two is great!! We could have threads where she approached him with the deal that very clearly changed his life! Anndd then of course, them meeting again in Purgatory! and of COURSE, AUs were she didn't die, or where he didn't bury her or had to unbury her haha! Either way, would love to see someone bring this character to life on the board! My muse may not like threads with her, but I sure will!! [attr="class","tempcredits"]CRAFTED BY ALISHA [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky"]width:610px;margin:0px auto;padding:2.5px;position:relative;[/newclass] [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky .box"]width:300px;height:300px;position:relative;margin:2.5px;overflow:hidden;display:inline-block[/newclass] [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky .box .header1"]width:260px;padding:8px 10px;background-color:#000;color:#fff;text-align:center;position:absolute;top:0px;z-index:1;margin:10px;font:13px Oswald;text-transform:uppercase;-webkit-transform: translateX(-310px);-o-transform: translateX(-310px);-moz-transform: translateX(-310px);transform:translateX(-310px);-webkit-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-moz-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-o-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-ms-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out[/newclass] [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky .box .main-content"]width:260px;height:188px;background-color:#FFF;font:11px Helvetica;color:#000;border:3px double #ececec;padding:7px;text-align:justify;overflow:auto;margin:0px 10px;position:absolute;top:46px;z-index:1;transform:translateX(310px);-webkit-transform: translateX(310px);-o-transform: translateX(310px);-moz-transform: translateX(310px);-webkit-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-moz-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-o-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-ms-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out[/newclass] [newclass=".main-content img"]width:auto!important;height:auto!important;position:relative!important;margin:2px;display:block[/newclass] [newclass=".main-content::-webkit-scrollbar"]width: 10px;background-color:#fff[/newclass] [newclass=".main-content::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb"]background-color:#ececec[/newclass] [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky .box:hover .main-content"]-webkit-transform: translateX(0px);-o-transform: translateX(0px);-moz-transform: translateX(0px);transform:translateX(0px);-webkit-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-moz-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-o-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-ms-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out[/newclass] [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky .box:hover .header1"]-webkit-transform: translateX(0px);-o-transform: translateX(0px);-moz-transform: translateX(0px);transform:translateX(0px);-webkit-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-moz-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-o-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;-ms-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out[/newclass] [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky img"]width:300px;height:300px;position:absolute;top:0px;left:0px[/newclass] [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky .name"]width:260px;padding:8px 10px;background-color:#000;color:#fff;text-align:center;position:absolute;bottom:0px;z-index:1;margin:10px;font:13px Oswald;text-transform:uppercase[/newclass] [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky .tempcredits"]margin:3px 0px;width:100%;text-align:center;font: 10px 'Oswald'; text-transform:uppercase;letter-spacing:2px;[/newclass] [newclass=".colors-of-the-sky .tempcredits a"]font: 10px 'Oswald'; text-transform:uppercase;letter-spacing:2px;[/newclass]

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Enough chit chat for today, Doc was ready to head to the cards table. That was where all the real action was. He was waiting from further instructions from Wyatt but even he needed to relax . . . and Doc certainly hoped that was what he was doing. Relaxing . . . with a woman. Which, perhaps was not too relaxing at all.
The thought made Doc internally smile as he took another step towards the backroom to win some money . . . when suddenly, he was stopped. Being stopped by a woman was indeed a wonderful thing. But . . . well, she looked woman enough. Her features very feminine yet her dress -- or lack there of -- was, peculiar. Yet, she seemed to know him. But then, that was hardly a surprise. His reputation here after all was growing. "Can I help you with something Ma'am . . . or is it, Sir?" A curious tone in his voice to open the subject of why a woman would be wearing clothing like that. It definitely left more to be desired.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Doc liked to think he knew Wynonna well, and he was quite aware of the fact that her silence . . . was not a good sign. But what else could be expected of the circumstances that currently befell them. They were forced to give up a child. Their child. The first feelings of parenthood either of them had experienced. An instant love and a just as instant love lost.
His eyes were off to the side, though as she began to approach him, crossing the distance between them, his arms instinctively moved with her, her face against his chest and his arms slowly -- almost hesitantly -- wrapping around her. In a delicate nature, one to match the current mood. The gentle touch turned more into a hug, into just holding her against him. Yeah. This felt about right. Words were not needed between them, but so much was felt. Maybe, that was all she needed tonight. Besides, for once, Doc didn't know what words of wisdom or advice he could give to make this better. Truth was, there was none.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Ah yes. A bottle -- or perhaps 2. So long as they were in this together for he doubted Gus would be as understanding if she'd known he was the one who had taken it. Besides, with the two of them in each other's company, she had to have known there would be some serious drinking involved.
Doc rested his elbows on the bar counter and leaned a little forward, eagerly anticipated the drink. "Well now we had plenty of drinking games back in my day," he answered. "But times have changed, and I find myself curious to learn of what today's drinking games entail." He hoped he wouldn't regret asking. Things seemed to have gotten a lot more . . . wild since he'd been out of the well. But alas, his intrigue was strong enough that he wanted to learn something new. Besides, he had to modernize with the times. A sad lesson he'd learned when he couldn't just ride his horse everywhere.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Henry had to admit, he wasn't sure when or if this day would have ever come. It was not because he lacked faith in Wynonna; it was because it felt way too good to be true. Their daughter was returning home. Alice, was coming home. It had been 3 years since he'd held her for the first and last time. 3 since from that day, it took to break the curse. But now, it was broken. No more Revenants. No more curse. No more danger. Alice could finally come home.
Doc had been so focused on seeing her again that the rest of it was slowly sinking in. The knowledge that he knew nothing apart from what he researched about parenthood. She was 3 years old. And he hadn't been there for a moment -- except the first few seconds of her life. Would she like him? Would he even be a good father? Where did they go from here? So many questions. And the nervousness had Doc pacing back and forth on the front porch of the Homestead, where he and Wynonna were waiting for the car that was carrying their daughter.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE It had been one hell of a day. Or past few days rather. This was the first time in what felt like a long one, that they could finally breathe. But each breath, felt pained. As reality was starting to sit in, and Doc was having a moment or two to process recent events. His time in hell suddenly felt as if it was on the surface, met with the knowledge of their daughter departing.
He understood it; it was safest for her. But that made it no easier to cope with. The drive back to the Homestead was quiet. Doc had requested Waverly to give them some time alone, so she was with Nicole. But assured her he would call once he left so that Wynonna didn't have to be alone tonight. Truth was, Doc didn't even know what to say. What could he say? He followed her inside, the kitchen being one of the first rooms upon entrance. "Do you, need anythin'?" He asked, not even sure what he could offer her right now. Apart from his company, if it was even so desired.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE The crowd had cleared out Gus had tasked Wynonna to lock up. Henry still wasn't exactly in her good books so she gave him a warning look before leaving for the night. Unfortunately about Shorty, but fortunate that the bar was left to the Earps. Or well, Gibsons technically. Either way, it allowed Doc to continue to frequent it and even get free booze in the process.
He still didn't forget that first drink he had since coming out of the well. A taste he would never again take for granted. "Does this mean that you are now the bartender?" He said with a bit of teasing flirtation to Wynonna as he made his way to the bar; the customer side of the bar -- for now. "Or can I just help myself?" And he would; very much so. Truth was, he was glad for this time alone with her. With everyone else around them: Revenants, Dolls, Waverly -- though he did adore Waverly -- it was indeed nice just to have some, alone time with her.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE The offer to reside on the Homestead was indeed a very generous one. A gesture that Doc did not take for granted. In return, he did try to help around the land where he could. Chopping up firewood was just the first task that he knew of -- as Waverly had suggested. So he was on his way from the barn to the main house to see if the sisters required his assistance with anything this morning. Giving a light knock on the door, he waited a few moments but there was no response.
He then proceeded to enter, making his way to the kitchen when something by the stairs caught his attention. Curiosity got the better of him as he went towards it and couldn't resist bending down to pick it up. What on Earth . . . It appeared to be a colourful . . . skimpy . . . fabric of sorts. He held it up by the thin string that seemed to be attached to it and there was only one thing he could think of that it resembled. "How peculiar," he thought out loud, trying to figure out how practical this really was.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Well . . . things had escalated rather quickly. And as always, it seemed that the 'heroes' of it, got stuck with the short end of the straw. Nedley had locked them both in this warehouse -- the origin of where the virus was meant to spread -- and now they would have to wait to see if either of them contracted it. Doc had attempted to explain that he could not get sick but there was some technicality the Sheriff mentioned; something about government made diseases. Whatever bull he went on about. But . . . then again, it wasn't as if Doc was about to leave Wynonna alone, by herself to face quarantine.
"It won't be this sickness that will do me in," he began to state, taking off his hat. He had suffered from tuberculosis for over ten years. This was nothing. "It will be the severe lack of any alcohol." Tequila. Whiskey. Rum. None of it was here and Doc was already feeling the intense withdrawal of it. "That, and perhaps my limited supply of smokes." He only had a few left. Ah yes. This was going to be a long next few . . . days, was it? At least this place was spacious. He had developed a horrible case of claustrophobia and that was the last condition he needed to be thrown in amidst all this other deprivation.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE That much was true. It was far safer on her land than anywhere else. Besides, he liked knowing where she was . . . knowing she was safe. Knowing that he could help protect her as trouble just had a way of finding her. Or finding them both perhaps. He gave another slight smile when spoke of Waverly and Nicole . . . perhaps a safer topic than the other one. The elephant in the room.
"Well far be in from me to get in the way of romance," he said jokingly. He was glad that Waverly was with the person she loved; someone who loved her in return. Must indeed be a glorious feeling. Though her next words were causing him to be dangerously close to revealing more than he should. Never the less, it still made his heart swell to hear her say it; that she liked having him around. "Indeed," he said, trying to keep his emotions back. "It is after all as a wise woman once told me, friends stick around." Keeping any bitterness out of his words as they were meant to be honest in delivery. And, perhaps a reminder to himself too . . . that that was how she saw him as. Or at least, wanted to see him as.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE Ah yes, Jeremy. A funny fellow that one was, but loyal and valuable no less. "Being in our company . . . it was only a matter of time before found himself in a life or death situation." Taking a swig of his drink, he set the cup back on the surface but curled his fingers around it. "Won't be the last either." Whatever lay ahead of them, there was bound to be more risks, more danger, more threats. That was part of the thrill.
She then asked him how long he had been working to help him. The need to keep any more of this from her was gone. She deserved the honest answer now. "Ever since we helped him escape from the facility," he answered. "I knew his dependency on the drug would hinder him from getting too far. So, we needed to act fast." Hence, the purchasing of Shorty's, blackmailing Lucado, and enlisting Rosita's help. "I hope you understand the reasons we could not tell you." We this time, meaning him and Dolls. He had explained it earlier, but truly wanted to make sure they were alright. After all, they had bigger arguments and disagreements than something like this.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE He slightly smiled with amusement when she joked about the next person emerging from a well. "And here I thought I was one of a kind," he said with teasing arrogance. He could feel the amusement wane and the air grow a bit more serious. Only in form of her evident sincerity when she made the next offer of him staying here. He had been grateful for the shelter before; her land being safe and protected. That, being the practical reason he kept at the surface of his mind.
If one was to delve deeper, his personal reasons for wishing to stay would be easily discovered. Though, despite the fact that Dolls was no longer with them -- for now -- he had not forgotten what he saw, nor the meaning behind it. "Much obliged," he said with a small smile, forcing the deeper emotions back. "I would be grateful for it. At least until I can find something more, permanent." And he had no idea what or where that was.
For he felt the most at home when he was here . . . with her. "As long as you are certain it would not pose an issue for . . . " He paused briefly before continuing. "Anyone." And if someone asked, he would just say Waverly, even if that was not who was foremost on his mind as the person who may object. Not even Doc was naive enough to believe Dolls would be gone for good.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE While Doc knew that Dolls was far from ordinary -- or human -- he'd hardly expected the man to breathe fire. Glowing eyes, sure. Superhuman strength. And now . . . fire breather. The entire scene had been shocking and yet not surprising at all. The fact that the drugs had worked -- perhaps a little too well -- was enough of a relief to subdue any other emotions upon seeing the -- whatever he was, breathe fire. Rosita had done well, as did Jeremy. Now they would just have to wait to see the aftermath. Truth was, as Doc had told Wynonna, he did it for her. While he no longer wished the man dead -- so to speak -- his now amicable 'relationship' with him, if one could even call it that, was because of Wynonna.
In much the same way that Dolls treatment of Doc was because of her too. After all, in the early days neither of them was able to kill the other knowing they would never have her forgiveness. Doc looked at Wynonna with a smile, starting to walk over to her, or the bar rather to give them a reward for a good days work. "I am sure the former Deputy Marshall would revel in the thought of being your own personal snow blower," he said with a smirk, moving behind the bar to grab a bottle of whiskey and two glasses. "I for one, did not know he could do that," he added, pouring the drinks for them, and for whatever reason, wanted Wynonna to know that he hadn't the knowledge of the extent of Dolls' . . . capabilities.

darlin' I'M EVERYBODY'S TYPE The moment he saw her approach, his lips curled into a smile. A short lived one for she tossed something at him. Quick reflexes helped him to catch it with ease but he stared at it, realizing what it was and not knowing at the same time. "Why have you given me one of your . . . telephonies?" That was what they were called, wasn't it?
From his understanding, they made music and you spoke into it. Oh how far technology had come. He grew quickly distracted however when she held up the keys to the car, instinctively taking a step back. "Oh no," he refused. "While I appreciate the gesture of having given me an automobile, I must say there is no way in hell and beyond that I am entering one of those contraptions ever again." Officer Haught had pulled him over while he was learning to drive it . . . and well before the entire thing broke down. No. Never again. "Whatever engine of mine you intend to rev--" Whatever that meant. "It will not be that of a car's."
